Valentine's Day
Charlie hates Valentine's Day. "too commercial" he always like to say. To please girl friend, he still did what gentleman should do for few years. Last year, he thoughts he might be able to escape from buying flowers, as girlfriend didn't mention about Valentine's Day.
A week after that special day, Charlie got earful because he didn't buy flowers. His usual smooth talking and excuse didn't work either. He had to buy two dozen roses before girl friend smiled again.
I met Charlie last week. He told me he already made booking to buy roses. It is more economical to buy now then later.
Why Valentine's Day is such a big deal for women?

Our parents, grandparents had given all their emotion, money and time to raise us, taking us to university, caring about our wellbeing even when we have our own family. Now they are old, they are vulnerable. Are we trying to protect them as much as we are protecting our children?
From generation to generation the level of love and care from parents to children and from children to parents can hardly balance.

strategic plan
Tonight I heard twice the word of "strategic plan" at two separate occasions. All the successful business people know this word too well. Without this word, they wouldn't be successful.
If business success needs strategic plan, how about relationship? The principle of success is same, unless we are not committed.
Like other success, to find the right one, we also need to set-up a goal. Not only goal, we need a plan and a dead line to achieve it. Not only plan and dead line, we need action to make it a success. How many people can relate to this?

My girl friend Jane always worries after meeting someone she likes. What really borders her is what she should do if he doesn't call her anymore.

Is Marriage Wonderful?
Today I got 2 calls from 2 different couples. They just got married. One couple also sent me the video of their wedding ceremony. It brought tears to my eyes when watching their big moment.
Regardless how negative people feel, or how many divorces every year, marriage is still the most wonderful committment two people have made to each other. They may need more efforts to make it work, but who can forget that moment when the husband put the ring on wife's finger?
Never be afraid to gett married. It is wonderful!

Why he stops being romantic?
My girl friend has been felling sad for few weeks. Her boy friend of 2 months suddenly stopped delivering flowers to her. He still calls her once a day, but nothing like first couple of weeks when he rang her 5 times a day. She is even sadder the boy friend told her relationship needs time. "Why didn't he tell me at beginning when he was chasing me?" that's what she couldn't understand.
Anyone has idea why the boyfriend is not as passionate as he must met her?
